Cyber crooks ever looking to expand the amount of infected computers mean they are now creating viruses in multiple languages and the first one has been spotted in Ireland written in poor Irish language trying to extort money using the traditional fake antivirus scam.
The virus that looks like it has been written in poor Irish most likely a translator job tries to get $100 out of Irish users by saying that they’re computer has been used illegally and pretends to be the government, the savvy computer user who spotted this did not pay the fee and took it straight to a local computer repair store to get it fixed – if any user has this problem they should do exactly the same.
So be even more careful of threats even if English isn’t your main language as cybercrooks are trying to get as many victims as possible even if it means using other languages.
